Is Kendall Jenner Ditching Her Modeling Career To Pursue Dreams Of Acting?

Is Kendall Jenner ready to move on from her successful career in modeling and pursue a new career in the world of acting?

According to a new report, the 22-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star may be following in the footsteps of her longtime friend Cara Delevingne, who quit modeling at the top of her game and began appearing in Hollywood films.

“This is something that Kendall has always been interested in, and now she’s convinced she can make it happen,” a source revealed to Radar Online on Feb. 12.

Last year, Jenner joined the cast of Ocean’s 8 for a guest appearance in the highly anticipated film and now, she's hoping that the soon-to-be-released movie will open more doors into the industry.

“This is the real reason Kendall decided to delete her app and slow down on the modeling front,” the insider said.

Several weeks ago, Jenner released her final blog post to her many fans and followers, confirming that she will no longer be sharing updates on her official app. As the Radar Online report explained, Jenner did so after she started to feel anxious at the idea of giving her fans so much access to her life.

In Jenner's announcement about the end of her blog, she said that after over two years connecting with fans, she was looking forward to the next year of her life and planning to change her priorities. Although Jenner didn't reveal what her new priorities would be, Radar Online's source claimed the successful model was referring to her potentially upcoming career change.

“She’s serious about this and determined to carve out a legitimate career as an actress,” added the source.

Around the time that the reality star quit her app, Jenner opened up about her struggles with anxiety during an interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine.

“I wake up in the middle of the night freaking out. Full panic attacks," she revealed. "They wake me up from my sleep, and I need to stand up and I pace and I’m freaking out and crying. I don’t feel normal and I like to feel as normal as I can.”
