Beyonce has added more shows to her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.

The 31-year-old entertainer is now set to perform in Latin and South America in September. She will play five shows in Brazil, one in Venezuela, one in Mexico and another in Puerto Rico. She has also added more North American dates for December. Tickets for these shows go on sale on July 1. See the full list of dates here.

The singer previously announced the North American leg of her tour will begin on June 28 in Los Angeles and will end on August 5 in Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

The singer finished the European leg of her tour on June 1 in London. During her time overseas, the singer was forced to cancel one of her shows in Belgium, scheduled for May 14. She quickly apologized to her fans.

"I've never postponed a show in my life. It was very hard for me. I promise I will make it up very soon. I'm sorry if I disappointed you," she posted on her website in a hand-written note. "Thank you for your concern. I'm feeling much better now and I'm ready to give you a great show."

Despite the massive amount of shows, Beyonce's tour isn't in support of a newly released album. Mrs. Carter has been working on the follow-up to her fourth studio album, 2011's 4, since the summer. The album will feature collaborations with Ryan Tedder, The-Dream, Greg Kurstin and Sia. Ne-Yo is also working on the album.

"I'm still putting stuff together for Beyonce's album," he told Billboard on June 19.

While more details haven't been revealed in regards to her album, Beyonce told Vogue in the March 2013 issue that it will be more empowering than her previous records. The reason, she added, is because of her experiences after giving birth to Blue Ivy Carter.

"I just feel my body means something completely different," she said. "I feel a lot more confident about it. Even being heavier, thinner, whatever. I feel a lot more like a woman, more feminine, more sensual. And no shame."
