When it comes to music, everyone has their opinion. However, when you have a talk show, your voice and views are magnified.

Wendy Williams Makes A Crazy Statement

Talk show host Wendy Williams is back in the news today after she made a controversial statement regarding popular female singers. The former radio shock jock and fashion designer was following up on Fergie's polarizing performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner," when she listed off several names of performers that need autotune for them to perform.

"There are only a few people that can sing 'raw dog,' and Fergie is not one. She needs autotune. Jen Lopez needs autotune and Janet [Jackson] needs autotune. Beyoncé needs autotune," said Williams in a clip posted by the Shader Room.

The studio audience, who are affectionately known as her co-hosts, were divided by the statement. Meanwhile, Williams declared the real singers to be Adele, Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Dionne Warwick, and Mariah Carey, who "need nothing" to perform for their fans.

Twitter Claps Back

Hours after making that comment, Twitter unleashed their outrage upon the Daytime Emmy nominated host. Users posted GIFs and memes that perfectly expressed their feelings on Williams' controversial statements.

"Every time I try to take up for Wendy Williams she turns around and says something stupid again. How could anyone ever say Beyoncé needs autotune to perform live? In what life? This woman performed "Love on Top" PREGNANT! With full choreography! Slander will not be tolerated," wrote one Twitter user.

In addition to expressing their outrage, other Twitter users stated that Williams is a miserable person. However, some fans became concerned with Williams' health and even asked her fans why they tolerate her ignorant statements.

"Something is wrong with Wendy Williams y'all. We need to stop acting like she's okay. She thinks Beyonce needs autotune. That's crack-ish," wrote another Twitter commentator.

Wendy's Health Scare

Williams' interesting comments come one day after the talk show returned to The Wendy Williams Show after battling flu-like symptoms. A show spokesperson stated to Enstars that they had to cancel the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday tapings of her talk show.

In addition to Williams' battle with the flu, fans could not forget her scary fall that happened during the Halloween episode. Williams was dressed as the Statue of Liberty, and just as she was about to introduce her contestants, she slurred her words and fainted on live television. One day after the event, Williams admitted that she was going through menopause and added that the paramedics stated she fell due to being dehydrated.

Wendy's Greatest Hits

In addition to bashing Beyoncé, Williams has also badmouthed countless celebrities. She claimed that Meghan Markle tried to work on her show on an earlier episode. Also, Williams blamed Tamar Braxton for coming in between Vincent Herbert and Remy Ma's business relationship.

She also called Kim Kardashian selfish after she introduced Chicago West in Kylie Jenner's video that marked the introduction of Stormi Webster. This statement might have been the last straw as Kris Jenner banned the Kardashian-Jenner family from ever appearing on The Wendy Williams Show.
