Kendra Wilkinson set the record straight and admitted that she and husband, Hank Baskett, have real marital issues. The reality TV star slammed a report that claims their problems are made up for TV.

Faking It

Wilkinson opened up about her marital issues in a lengthy post on Instagram. She addressed a tabloid that claimed she makes up marriage problems with Baskett for the sake of her reality TV show.

"Made-up Marriage Problems?! Kendra's faking it for TV," reads the headline from the tabloid.

The report cited a source who claimed that the former Playboy mansion housemate is "pulling out all the stops to get another season." She supposedly depends on problems with Baskett to seal another TV deal. Wilkinson and her husband are allegedly faking marriage crisis to secure a seventh season of Kendra on Top.

Likewise, the alleged insider noted how Baskett has been missing in Wilkinson's social media photos or videos. The source also pointed out that the mother-of-two tried to stir interest in her marriage when she tweeted in January that 2018 has so far been the hardest start to a year in her life.

"She's pretty much creating relationship problems to drum up interest and get them [WEtv] to renew the show. In reality, their marriage is fine," the insider continued, adding that Wilkinson wants a repeat of the season 4 success, when ratings spiked after Baskett was caught in a cheating scandal.

The Truth

Speaking up against the false assumptions, Wilkinson responded with a seven-point post and confirmed that she and Baskett are indeed experiencing marital issues.

"Yes we are having issues," Wilkinson wrote on Instagram and pointed out that it makes no sense to make up marital problems.

Wilkinson then revealed that she and her husband are trying hard to overcome the issues they have at home. She added that the show's producers, WEtv, her friends, and family all know that they are not faking their marriage problems.

The former Girls Next Door star also explained the changes Kendra on Top had to undergo in the course of six seasons.

"My show was a comedy and light hearted til sad times happened then we had to change my show from comedy to drama. Not what i wanted but was a part of my journey and story," she wrote.

Wilkinson added that she hoped to get back to the fun Kendra that her viewers have grown to love. This is what she aims for since she hates drama. The reality TV star closed her post with a revelation that she has been through a lot of therapy and hoped that the marital problems she and Baskett have will eventually be resolved. She also thanked her fans for their continued support.
