The Good Wife's Josh Charles And Wife Sophie Flack Expecting Second Baby

The Good Wife alumni Josh Charles and his wife, Sophie Flack, are now expecting their second baby. In an Instagram photo, Flack showed her baby bump while wearing a shirt captioned, "I woke up like this." The couple had their first child, Rocco, in December 2014.

The soon family of four is welcomed with excitement from friends and family including actor Bobby Cannavale who commented, "WHAAAAA?!!!! @Sophsf Love you guys!"

Private Life

Since their marriage in 2013, Charles and Flack managed to maintain a private life. However, this does not limit the couple in sharing their shared memories online, where the 34-year-old former ballerina proudly calls her husband a "DILF."

Flack also does not fail to share photos of her son, Rocco, playing with the family dog Zeus.

In an interview with the New York Times in April 2017, Josh revealed some details about his family life.

"It's about 7:30 a.m. I wake up and cook breakfast. I make waffles or pancakes, or I've made slow-cook oatmeal the night before," the 46-year-old Dead Poets Society actor said. "It's a nice way to wake up. The house smells like cinnamon."

A dip in the pool is also one of Josh's favorite bonding activity with their first son.

"He's learning to feel comfortable in the water, blowing bubbles, ducking his head under, sort of diving into your arms. It's a really nice experience. Getting him in and out of the trunks is probably the hardest part," Josh candidly said.

Going Back On Stage

Josh also starred as Will Gardner in the CBS series The Good Wife, where he was nominated for multiple Emmy awards. After his brief stint on the show, the actor said he is looking forward to more acting roles and even a directing opportunity.

"I am really eager to get back on stage and find a play that I really want to do," he said in an interview. "I would really love to do a play and I would really love to direct a movie. Now that I have more time my hands I'm going to hold myself to that and be really diligent."

In preparation for the upcoming new baby, Josh and his wife bought a luxury pad in Manhattan in early January. The 2,615 square feet apartment at the Devonshire House in Greenwich Village is reported to be worth $6.3 million.

The condominium sports three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a beamed ceiling, multiple pane sash windows, an east-facing kitchen, a snack bar, a walk-in closet, and marble top sinks among other amenities.
