Fake photos of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's baby girl North West have surfaced the web, according to reports.

TMZ reported that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star devised a plan and sent a few of her friends two pictures of an adorable baby she claimed to be North West, but the photos were actually an impostor infant.

The site goes on to say that the friend of Kardashian and Kanye's attempted to sell the photos of the baby girl.

Sources said the pictures are absolutely fake.

Kardashian and Kanye have yet to release any pictures or information about the little girl. Sources claim that the famous couple are being offered big bucks from different magazines for first photos of baby North, but the couple is torn between profiting from their newborn or releasing pictures on social media.

Jo Piazza, executive news director for InTouch and Life & Style said Kanye is against selling North West's pictures.

"He furiously does not want these pictures sold to the world," Piazza said. "He doesn't like the idea of pimping his child, even though he is quite good at pimping out himself."

Piazza also said that profiting from North may hurt Kardashian's image and brand.

"Kim knows she needs to garner a lot of good will," Piazza said.

Meanwhile, though fans were shocked that Kardashian and Kanye picked North West to name their first daughter, sources said that North has a significant meaning.

"North is the most high. There is nothing higher than North," the source said. "And, when it comes to the stars, the sun rises in the East and sets in the West."

"Nothing is more special than North. Kim keeps saying, 'She is our North Star," the source added.

During a March interview with Jay Leno, Kardashian denied that she and Kanye were considering North West, explaining, "There are so many rumors. That is not true ... that is not one of the names on the list."

EnStars reported earlier that the couple also had Winter West in mind.
