Holly Madison is engaged to her boyfriend, businessman Pasquale Rotella, three months after they welcomed their first child.

Madison, 33, announced the news on her blog on Monday and revealed how creative he was in asking her hand in marriage.

"I got engaged Sunday," wrote the former Girls Next Door star. "My fiancé was so wonderful in creating such a romantic night! He proposed to me at the top of the Ferris wheel at EDC Las Vegas."

"I was so happy that so many of our close friends were there to share the wonderful moment with us," she wrote. "We rode around the festival on the art car until the sun came up! I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful or magical proposal!"

Madison has been dating the 38-year-old founder of the Electric Daisy Carnival for more than a year. The former Playboy model dated Hugh Hefner from 2002 to 2008. Madison delivered her daughter Rainbow Aurora on March 5. The former Playmate's child weighed 7 pound, 2 ounces.

Madison told Us Weekly in a previous interview her ideal date to wed Rotella was Aug. 14, 2013. She shared the news at a screening for her E! network documentary, Holly Has A Baby, on May 12.

Rotella popped the question two weeks after the former Peepshow Vegas dancer flaunted her toned post-baby body in a tiny pink bikini exclusively for the magazine. She showed off her flat, toned tummy and her infant daughter for a photo shoot published earlier in June. Donning white espadrille wedges with pink trim, Madison posed for the magazine outside of her Las Vegas home she shares with her fiance.
