Remember when Kim Kardashian was willing to be the guinea pig for any and every beauty treatment to possibly keep the ratings high on her family's infamous realty show Keeping Up With the Kardashians?

In an episode of the E! reality series -- and probably the most memorable, the mother of three underwent one of the most horrifying beauty treatments known as the vampire facial.

The KKW Beauty founder decided to experiment with the facemask alongside her best friend, Jonathan Cheban, on a spin-off episode of Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami in 2013. Of course, Cheban opted out but Kardashian decided to give it try.

Well, the self-proclaimed selfie queen says the treatment is one of her biggest regrets. Surprisingly, her remorse does not stem from the result; it's actually from the pain.

In order to get the vampire facial, one must stab their face with acupuncture-size needles of their own blood.

The 37-year-old explained that before she completed the procedure, she had just found out that she was expecting and she couldn't use any numbing creams.

"It was really rough and painful for me. I couldn't tell anyone about the pregnancy either, but I pulled Jonathan [Cheban] aside and told him," Kim wrote in a blog post.

Kim also revealed that if she wasn't filming Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, she probably wouldn't have decided to get the facial, but since she was filming the show she felt she couldn't chicken out.

Does The Vampire Facial Give Good Results?

Although the reality star expressed her regrets in regards to the facial, she did reveal that the technique has several benefits for skin.

The beauty entrepreneur further stated that her sister Kourtney Kardashian is actually a huge fan of the mask.

Kim Kardashian's Skin Routine

The vampire facial may not have worked out for Kim but she took to Instagram to confirm that her skin is doing just fine thanks to her Guerlain skin-care products, which are presumed to cost up to $2,000.

In January, Kim disclosed the French products, stating that she would be using four, which were to be used weekly.

The four items are designed to "resurface, illuminate, redefine and plump." Kim also admitted that Guerlain's items are pricey so they stay on her wish list.

"Guerlain moisture is my favorite -- it's really heavy, which I like, but it's so expensive, so I ask for it for my birthday and Christmas," Kim remarked.
