Blake Shelton is currently participating in the Country Music Freaks Tour with Brett Eldredge, Carly Pearce, and Trace Adkins, and Gwen Stefani is missing him.

According to a new report, Stefani and Shelton have been forced to spend time apart in recent weeks due to their hectic schedules, but Stefani is doing her best to keep in touch — even on social media. Most recently, the 48-year-old singer sent her country singer boyfriend, 41, a sweet message on Instagram and let him know she was missing him.

“Missing being a girlfriend on tour [with] this country boy,” she wrote, via People magazine, in the caption of the photo that was taken last weekend.

Around the same time, she shared another image of herself and Shelton on Instagram during his show in Houston, Texas.

“Have a good show tonight we [are] missing [you] in L.A,” she wrote.

Prior to Shelton's journey to Houston, he and Stefani celebrated the fourth birthday of her youngest son, Apollo. As fans may have seen online, Apollo was thrown a Scooby Doo-themed party for his big day, and during the event, Stefani shared a number of cool photos on social media as she sported a Daphne costume. Meanwhile, Shelton was dressed up as Shaggy.

Stefani and Shelton also recently threw a Harry Potter-themed party for her middle son, Zuma, in honor of his ninth birthday.

Throughout the couple's relationship, Shelton has made it clear that he is a big fan of Stefani's three boys, and they seem to be just as enamored with him. In fact, they are often seen sporting camouflage outfits and once wore temporary tattoos of the one Shelton has on his arm.

In November, after being named as People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive, Shelton spoke of the boys.

“There’s days where you go, ‘Oh my God, when does school start?’” he said. “An hour later you’re going, ‘God, I can’t wait ’til they get home.’”

“They’re so damn funny,” Shelton added “It’s just my first time being around it, and it’s easy to fall in love with those kids. They’re pretty special.”
