Paris Jackson is happy and contented with the color of her skin, and she made her feelings known on social media after she noticed her fans constantly changing her skin tone.

Contentment

The 19-year-old daughter of the King of Pop Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe has asked her followers to stop Photoshopping her skin color. The Gringo star is not worried about them altering her body size or doing other edits. She appreciates every single edit she sees. They can make her look thin or fat. She does not mind.

However, she is more concerned about how her fans constantly change her skin tone. They make her appear whiter or darker. She wants to stop fans from lightening her skin to make her look more white. Jackson wants her fans to know that she is happy with her color.

"But please stop lightening my skin to make me look more white. And please stop darkening my skin to make me look more mixed. I am what I am. I'm aware of what I look like and I finally happy with it," Jackson tweeted on Wednesday.

Jackson's post has since received over 17,000 likes as of this writing. Fans replied with apologetic comments.

"I'm so sorry Paris. I have never understood why someone would want to change some else's skin color. It's really upsetting that you even have to point this out," another user wrote along with a sad emoji.

"We all Love you for who you are. I think sometimes it's not intentionally done, sometimes after a lot of editing it may or may not affect the skin tone. But sorry about it. Again we love you for being you and nothing about that will change," another fan replied.

Meanwhile, another fan told Jackson that she is beautiful just the way she looks and commented on how people edit things to satisfy their description of what is deemed acceptable in society or what society wants to see.

"Never change, stand strong! Your Beautiful!" a fan wrote.

Lineage

Jackson previously opened up about her skin color in an interview with the Rolling Stone. She told the magazine that she considers herself as black, even though she has light skin. She revealed that most people who do not know her consider her to be white.

However, the model-turned-actress believes that she is black because that is what her father told her, and he has never lied to her. Jackson recalled that her dad would look her in the eye and point his finger at her and said, "You're black. Be proud of your roots."
