Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's marriage has been a highly discussed topic recently, but the country singers are looking to step out of the limelight and spend some time doing "husband and wife things."

"We are going to go home and hang out together and do husband and wife things," Shelton told People following his win on The Voice. "The things they do in private."

Several months ago, Life and Style Weekly claimed that the country singers' marriage was on the rocks due to Shelton allegedly getting too close to singer Cady Groves. Although Shelton and Lambert laughed off the rumors, they still seem to be keen to let people know all it well.

"No matter what you might read, she and I are together constantly and it makes my life that much better," Shelton told E!.

According to Shelton's Twitter account, these relaxing married couple adventures appear to include beer and creepy crawly bugs.

"Statement just made in the Shelton household: 'After you throw that snake out please get the scorpion off the door!!!' #country," tweeted Shelton on Wendsday.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday afternoon, Shelton was wondering if he could spend the Oklahoma afternoon with a drink in hand.

"Is it early enough for a drink yet?" he wondered.

It looks like The Voice coach is at least attempting to enjoy his vacation with his wife.
