The cast of This Is Us has revealed as much as they can about the highly anticipated second season finale of the emotional NBC series. It’s bound to be a tear jerker.

Kate And Toby Say Their 'I Dos'?

The stars of the show revealed to fans some major storylines of the episode called The Wedding that is slated to air Tuesday night.

While Chrissy Metz found love on the set of the show, she also confirmed her character, Kate Pearson, and her love Toby Damon (played by Chris Sullivan) will indeed have a wedding ceremony. She actually tweeted and invited guests to Kate and Toby’s big day.

Metz also dished that the finale will serve as a significant turning point for Kate.

While the series surrounds Kate and the rest of the Pearson family, fans will get to meet Toby’s side of the family in this episode. Viewers weren't introduced to Toby’s brother when he opted out of attending Toby's bachelor party in Las Vegas a couple of episodes prior. Still, his family dynamic will be on display for the wedding and is said to explain much of Toby’s personality and characteristics.

Interestingly enough, Metz confirmed that as usual on This Is Us, things are never as they seem.

“There is a bit of a twist, in true ‘This Is Us’ fashion,” continued Metz. “Because the writers are genius.”

Jack Is Back

One of the twists could be Jack Pearson’s (played by Milo Ventimiglia) return. Yes, he died in an unforgettable fire that broke fans' hearts when The Big Three Pearson children were in high school. Still, fans know how close Jack and Kate were, so his appearance is one that is well welcomed. While he won’t be there in the actual present-day, it looks like he will be there in some form because a grey-haired Jack has been in the promos for the episode.

Ventimiglia said that he enjoyed his return as it was his first time acting with the older version of The Big Three. In the past, he’s only worked with the youngest and teenage versions.

Deja's Story Continues

While fans saw Deja’s (played by Lyric Ross) backstory in the most recent episode, it’s far from being over as more will come out about Randall (played by Sterling K. Brown, who has won history-making awards for his role) and Beth Pearson’s (played by Susan Kelechi Watson) foster child.

“This ish hits the fan,” said Watson during an interview.

She reiterated that Randall and Beth only have Deja’s best interest at heart; although the situation is a bit difficult because Deja’s birth mother is still a big part of that picture.

This Is Us season 2 finale airs on NBC Tuesday at 9/8c.
