Kravitz continued to wear the hairdo in 2016 as she appeared in the drama film, Dope.

Big Little Lies Season Two

In December 2017, HBO confirmed that they have renewed Big Little Lies for a second season that will feature seven episodes.

Following the announcement Reese Witherspoon, who plays Madeline Martha Mackenzie on the show, expressed her excitement about the show's return and stated that she was so happy to give their fans more stories.

"It gives us the opportunity to delve deeper into the lives of these intriguing and intricate Monterey families and bring more of their stories back to the audience who embraced and championed them," Witherspoon said in a statement.

Witherspoon further stated that she was looking forward to working with Andrea Arnold who will direct the new season.

Meryl Streep Joins Big Little Lies

As if the original cast's return wasn't enough to excite fans, Oscar award winner Meryl Streep is set to join the cast for the second installment.

Streep will reportedly play Mary Louis Wright, the mother of Perry played by, Alexander Skarsgard.

News about Streep joining cast broke just weeks after Big Little Lies cast took home the award for Best Miniseries and TV Film.

Although Kravitz and her cast member have started to film the second season, HBO's president of programming, Casey Bloys revealed that Big Little Lies will likely to return in 2019, but it wouldn't be impossible to try to aim for 2018.
