Kim Kardashian's younger sister Kendall Jenner revealed her plans for a career change-she'd rather model than be on television.

Jenner spurred speculation that she may be quitting her family's reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, when she confessed her plans at a model casting for V magazine.

The 17-year-old was asked if she would consider ending her invlolvement with the successful show on E!, so that she could be taken more seriously as a model and she admitted that she would.

"I've never gotten that question before...Um, yeah. Probably," Jenner told a writer at V.

Jenner then admitted that the transition from reality television to the world of high fashion has been a challenge.

"I don't think some people take me very seriously," Jenner confessed. "When I started off, I was way more of a personality in modeling and it wasn't like, what I wanted to be exactly."

She made it clear that her goal was to work as a professional model.

"I want to be more high fashion," she said, while name-dropping luxury brands, including Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana. "I want to be more editorial, but hopefully I'll just prove myself," she added.

Jenner said when she started modeling, as a 13-year-old, she was skeptical at first but, modeling became something she grew to love.

"I [didn't] think I'd want to do it, but I've grown a love for it, it's so fun for me," she said.

Jenner was also asked if she would consider relocating to New York City to pursue full-time modeling. She currently resides with her parents, Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner, in their home in Calabasas, Calif., but confessed she wasn't certain about the move because the size of their West Coast pad is more appealing than a New York City apartment.

"I love L.A., and I don't mind flying out here whenever I have to," she said. "And I'm such a family person, and my whole family is over there, and all of my friends, I mean, I'd make new friends, but I don't know. For a certain amount of time, it gets claustrophobic. I like having space."

Kendall said the advantage of living in New York City is that she is unrecognizable when she wears sunglasses and uses a chauffeured-driven car, but when she is in the Big Apple with her family it can be pretty hectic.

"When I'm here with my family, everybody knows which hotel we're staying at. It's a little bit crazier," she said.

Jenner admitted earlier in April that one of her biggest goals as an aspiring model is to pose for Victoria's Secret, a leading lingerie brand.

"It's always been kind of a dream of mine," she told E! News on April 11. "It's a very great thing to do, and it's something I'd love to do."

She said in another interview that she has no plans to shoot a spin-off reality show like her sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian. Talking to Cosmopolitan she said, "A reality show spin-off. That's not happening. Modeling is my number one priority--100 percent."
