Actress Danielle Fishel, otherwise known as Topanga Lawrence in Boy Meets World, is engaged. A thrilled Fishell made the exciting announcement on Instagram.

The Future Mr. And Mrs. Karp

The Boy Meets World star, who also appeared in spin-off series Girl Meets World, dropped the news Thursday. She is engaged to Jensen Karp, Drop the Mic executive producer and long-time friend.

"I woke up today thinking it would be a normal day and it was anything but normal. ... I proceeded to screw up a very romantic marriage proposal by being too efficient (this is very on brand for me). The future Mr. and Mrs. Karp are now engaged and no one is more excited than I am," she wrote.

As for quick-witted funnyman Karp, he posted that he didn't have anything funny or silly to say, except that the two are engaged. He further said that he could hardly believe someone he has known since high school turned out to be the one for him.

The happy couple celebrated their big news with the cast and crew of the hit TBS show. Drop the Mic co-host Hailey Baldwin shared the mini-party on her own Instagram story.

"We have a Drop the Mic engagement!!" she enthused.

A Long-Term Commitment

Fishel was previously married for two years to Tim Belusko. The couple divorced in March 2016.

It's unclear how long Fishel and Karp have been together, as she only made their romance Insta official in June of last year. Fishel posted a sweet video in honor of his birthday last November.

At the time, the Boy Meets World alum said that she doesn't usually do public happy birthdays, but was making an exception for somebody who has made hers and everybody else's lives better.

"You encourage and motivate people to be the best version of themselves, partially because you've worked so hard on yourself and know the benefits of self-improvement first-hand," she gushed.

Back then, Fishel was already referring to Karp publicly as the man she wished to spend the rest of her life with. As Karp noted, they've known each other their whole lives.

Boy Meets World is a hugely popular sitcom that ran for seven seasons from 1993-2000. Ben Savage played the lead character Cory Matthews, whose life is chronicled all the way from middle school to his college life and finally as a married family man.

Girl Meets World shifted the focus to Cory and Riley, Topanga's teen daughter. It ran on Disney Channel from 2014 to January 2017.
