Paris Hilton's engagement ring that costs a whopping $2 million went missing after it fell off at a Miami club on a night out.

The finger halo was given to her by fiancé Chris Zylka on New Year's Day, when he popped the question to the elite. Hilton's engagement ring, which has a 20-carat pear-shaped gem at the middle, apparently slipped off her finger while she was partying at a big night club in Miami on Friday.

Hilton had reportedly gone hysterical as soon as she got a wind of her lost ring. Who wouldn't be? After all, it costs an arm and a leg and, all the more, a gift of her soon-to-be husband. Of course, Zylka was there as a knight in shining armor as he helped the security personnel look for the band.

It was a painstaking, finding-a-needle-in-a-haystack moment as the wide club (50,000 square meters) could accommodate 7,000 guests, so just think how long will it take to comb the place out. Hilton reportedly panicked during the search, and a source added that people started looking for the engagement ring as well.

Finding The Ring

The venue was also reportedly jam-packed and was very dark. Everyone's efforts became fruitful when the team finally found Hilton's ring at an ice bucket of another table.

"It was amazing that they managed to even see that huge diamond in an ice bucket. Paris cried with relief when it was safely back on her finger," the insider added.

The 37-year-old, as of writing, had not released any statement about the incident. However, Above & Beyond, the trio in charge of the music, took to Twitter to say something about the scare.

"@ParisHilton nice to meet you and glad you found your ring," they tweeted.

About The Ring

As for the pricey ring, Michael Greene, the jeweler who made Hilton's band, revealed it was inspired by the model's mom's pear-shaped ring. Of course, it had become a talk of the town, as the soon-to-be-wife of Zylka had been flashing the enormous and sparkly ring in her appearances.

After all, Zylka had been hands-on on the proposal and the ring itself. There is no doubt that Hilton loved it, as she is not shying about her giddiness over the ring, previously gushing over it in an interview while describing the engagement ring as "the most beautiful ring" she had ever laid her eyes on.

Now, the couple is occupied planning their wedding, which is still unknown whether it would take place this year. With the recent line of events, it seemed that Hilton and Zylka can still squeeze in some night out on their busy schedules.
