Julianne Moore might join the cast of the Hunger Games: Catching Fire film adaptation of the Suzanne Collins novel, The Hollywood Reporter noted Thursday.

The 52-year-old actress, who played Sarah Palin in the 2012 HBO film Game Change, is in talks to play District 13 leader Alma Coin in the third and fourth film installments. In the book series, Moore's character is the head of the district where the lead character, Katniss Everdeen, is fighting against The Capitol or the tyrannical regime. President Coin, however, has a fallout with Katniss because she finds her actions to be suspicious.

Moore would join a cast that already includes Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson. According to sources, other actresses wanted for Moore's role include Meryl Streep, Jane Lynch, Sigourney Weaver, Cherry Jones and Maggie Smith.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, directed by Francis Lawrence, will hit U.S. theaters on Nov. 22.

Hutcherson spoke with On Air With Ryan Seacrest on June 19 about the upcoming movie. Without going into too much detail, he addressed the relationship status of the film's main characters.

"I can't divulge any kind of plot details, but it's up and down," he said about his Peeta's status with Katniss. "Katniss and Peeta's relationship is very complicated. It has a lot of little things that need to be worked out, but it's good. People, I think, will be very satisfied with it."

Despite being asked by Seacrest, the actor didn't divulge whether or not Peeta and Katniss's relationship becomes romantic.

While Lawrence hasn't given up any of this information either, the Oscar winner did explain what makes the sequel worth watching.

"This movie is visually kind of huge and stunning and we dive a little deeper into The Capitol and we are back into Katniss's life as she's trying to kind of piece her life together after the games and the stakes are a lot higher in this movie," she told Shine on Media recently.
