No one is admitting to biting Beyoncé just yet, but that hasn't stopped fans from suspecting a number of celebrities, including Lena Dunham.

As a response, the Girls creator took to social media to declare her innocence to the Twitterverse with a cheeky tweet.

"As the patron saint of 'She would do that...'" Dunham, 31, wrote on Twitter. "I didn't."

Other Suspects (And Their Denials)

As one of the most famous celebrities in the planet, Beyoncé boasts a large fanbase who can be quite protective of the singer. Since Tiffany Haddish told the story of the biting on GQ, these fans have taken it upon themselves to get to the bottom of the mystery biter.

Two of the names that came up soon after the incident became public is actress Sanaa Lathan, 46, and model-actress Sara Foster, 37. Like Dunham, the pair has denied it on social media as well.

"Y'all are funny," Lathan tweeted soon after her name came up. "Under no circumstances did I bite Beyoncé and if I did it would've been a love bite."

"Flattering that anyone thinks I could get this close to Beyoncé," Foster captioned an Instagram post that showed a screen capture of an email asking for her comment to the allegations.

Huffington Post asked a number of celebrities if they could cross them off the list of potential suspects. The celebrities who have responded with denials include Jennifer Aniston, Natalie Portman, Julie Andrews, Kathy Bates, Shirley MacLaine, Amy Adams, Jodie Foster, Charlotte McKinney, Jennifer Lawrence, and Frances McDormand. Queen Latifah's rep replied as well, saying she has no comment.

Aside from Beyoncé and Haddish, there's one person who knows for sure who the culprit is: Chrissy Teigen.

"It's not who I thought, I will say," she says in the Today show, according to People. "The problem is I love everybody involved so I'm like zip. You know I share everything. It's you guys! It's so hard."

Beyoncé Is Unbothered

What is being dubbed as the "bitegate" is the hottest topic in the entertainment industry with celebrities joining in the fun, from Donald Glover dropping Lathan and Lawrence's name in his mock Deadpool script to Sarah Michelle Gellar joking that it was her.

However, it seems the singer at the heart of it just isn't that interested in satisfying everyone's appetite for the culprit's name. Even on the night itself, Haddish says Beyoncé kept her cool and told her to have fun instead of confronting the woman who bit her.

For now, #WhoBitBeyoncé remains a mystery.
