For the past few months, Suzie Hardy has been in the spotlight following her shocking statements against Ryan Seacrest. Recently, she just lost an opportunity to continue telling her story.

No 'Megyn Kelly Today' Interview

Hardy, who served as Ryan Seacrest's stylist from E! Network from 2007 to 2013, was initially set to tell her side of the Seacrest sexual misconduct scandal to Megyn Kelly Today. The stylist revealed to the Daily Mail that she decided to tell her story to the former FOX News anchor turned talk show host because she believed that Kelly has the experience of doing interviews in support of the #MeToo Movement.

After months of scheduling back and forth between Hardy, her lawyer, Howard King, and the Megyn Kelly Today production team, a decision came that both Hardy and King would be scheduled for an exclusive interview on Monday, March 19. However, the two received a piece of news that they did not want to hear.

"Everything was set, my attorney and I were going to be on a plane to New York City, the pre-interview was supposed to be Friday (March 16) and the taping that following Monday (March 19). But the morning of our flight, they called my lawyer and abruptly canceled. No explanation was given," said Hardy in a statement to the Daily Mail.

Media outlet TV Newser revealed that they did reach out to a Megyn Kelly Today insider who revealed that the show did not book a flight for Hardy and her attorney. In addition, the source said that the show could book and unbook guests at their discretion.

However, Hardy believes that Megyn Kelly Today's producers decided to cancel the appearance due to NBCUniversal's ties with Seacrest. In addition to his American Idol and Live with Kelly and Ryan responsibilities, he is also E! News's managing editor and is an executive producer of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Ryan's Worst Oscars Experience

As Hardy continues to look for potential media outlets to tell her story, Seacrest is still recovering from one of the roughest Oscars red carpets of his career. Despite having Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian's social media support, only 21 celebrities talked to Seacrest during E! News' red carpet coverage. The stars included entertainment icons Whoopi Goldberg, Rita Moreno, and Donald Sutherland, and only four Oscar-nominated actors including eventual Best Supporting Actress winner Allison Janney.

The Sexual Allegations

Even after Kelly Ripa gave her public support to Seacrest during the March 1 episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan, the entertainment news veteran was still hounded by Hardy's accusations. Hardy shared with several publications that throughout the six years that E! employed her, the Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve With Ryan Seacrest emcee would allegedly grope her vagina, slap her buttocks and grind his erect penis against her while he was in his underwear. Seacrest has continued to deny Hardy's allegations.
