Things may be heating up for the Winchester brothers in season 9 of Supernatural.

The demon-hunting duo and their formerly angelic sidekick Castiel (Misha Collins) were left in a lurch following the events in season 8's Sacrifice. With heaven's host having plummeted to earth and Sam (Jared Padalecki) suffering form some sort of trials-induced sickness, the trio may find themselves up against Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) or one of his agents.

Spoiler TV reported on June 29 that the premiere episode of season 9 may be titled Devil May Care. However, producer Jim Michaels gave a different name for the first episode, due to air on Oct. 15.

Michaels took to his Twitter to clear matters up. Having recently moved back to Vancouver in order to begin work on the CW sci-fi hit, Michaels stated that the series will not be shooting in order. So while a script with that title may have been sent to casting agencies, that does not mean that it will be the first episode viewers see.

Spoiler TV also reported on two potential characters for the Devil May Care episode. It appears Sam and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will be getting a hand from a "gorgeous bad-ass hunter" named Tracy and a "manly hunter who is an old friend" that goes by the name Irv.

Considering the Winchester boys don't always see eye to eye with others in their profession, this may not turn out to be such a good thing.
