This isn't the first time that the parents-to-be experienced backlash due to their relationship. When the couple began dating in the beginning of 2017, Kardashian was heavily criticized for dating Thompson whose ex-girlfriend was pregnant then with his first son.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was accused of breaking up Thompson's relationship with his ex, Jordan Craig. The couple faced more backlash after the Revenge Body host announced her pregnancy and Thompson was accused of spending more time on Kardashian then on his son, Prince.

The reality star was also heavily criticized by fans for her response to the news that she would be having a girl.
