Demi Lovato recently celebrated a significant milestone; she has made it to six years of sobriety. However, one fan claims that she is no longer sober.

A Tale Of Two Photos

BuzzFeed initially reported that a fan went after the "Give Your Heart A Break" singer on social media. This unknown fan claimed that Lovato broke her sobriety after she hung out with several of her friends, rising pop star Hayley Kiyoko, actor Matthew Scott Montgomery, and rapper Sirah. The fan acquired the photos from both a Kiyoko fan account and from Montgomery and Sirah. The fan stated that there were two significant distinctions between each photo. The pictures that were supplied by the fan account saw that Lovato was carrying a drink in her hand. However, the images that the entertainers provided to social media featured a black mark that covered up the glass.

Demi Claps Back

The Lovato fan boldly asked the superstar the truth about the photos. The fan stated that she was surprised that Kiyoko posed with the "Heart Attack" singer as the fan noted that the pair were not exactly close friends. They also wondered why Kiyoko did not cover up the drink, while Montgomery and Sirah did cover it up. However, Lovato decided to end the debate once and for all and confronted the fan on social media.

"I don't have to defend anything, but it was Red Bull," said Lovato in a statement transcribed by People Magazine.
