Fans shouldn’t expect a Desperate Housewives reboot anytime soon. Eva Longoria gets candid about how the cast gets along today and possibly throws shade at Teri Hatcher.

Eva Longoria On 'Desperate Housewives' Friendship

Longoria made a guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this week. She didn’t hold back when the late-night talk show host asked her about a possible reunion for the series and likened it to shows like Roseanne that have had successful returns.

“No,” said Longoria. “I mean it’s always coming up on interviews and stuff, but no, nobody from ABC has brought it up.”

She pointed out that the stories of all the characters got a complete ending after the show had aired for nearly 10 years with 24 episodes each season.

Kimmel joked that Longoria and the rest of the cast, namely Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, and Marcia Cross, no longer get along after so many years have passed.

“No! Felicity Huffman and Marcia are going to be a star at my ceremony,” said Longoria, referring to her upcoming star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “Felicity is giving a speech. No, we’re very, very good friends.”

Hatcher wasn’t mentioned as one of the ladies scheduled to celebrate Longoria. Kimmel asked if all of the ladies were friends with each other, and Longoria gave a candid answer.

“No!” said Longoria. “But 99 percent of us are.”

Is Teri The Problem Housewife?

This isn’t the first time the ladies’ alleged issues with Hatcher made headlines. Rumors have swirled for years that the cast didn’t get along with Hatcher when they taped the show.

Things came to a head in 2005 when the ladies were set to cover Vanity Fair together. Word is Longoria and Cross had refused to allow Hatcher to be in the middle and said they had no problem walking off if she was going to pose front and center.

Interestingly enough, the series still aired on ABC until 2012. The ladies also threw shade even then when they didn’t include Hatcher’s signature in the thank you card for the production crew.

Teri Hatcher Is Here For A Reboot

As for Hatcher, she’s all in for a Desperate Housewives reboot. She said in an interview last month that she was certain all of the women would sign on for it.

Still, she admitted she had not kept contact with the women since the show went off the air after eight seasons. She said they support one another from afar and added that she's happy for Longoria who is expecting her first child.
