Black Panther breakout star Letitia Wright is demonstrably multi-talented. The Guyanese-born British actress can do freestyle rap like a boss.

Taking It Like A Champ

Wright's wisecracking Shuri, the Q to T'Challa's Bond, stood out in a film full of talented stars. In a movie loaded with strong female characters, her hyper-intelligent inventor, whose work ensures Wakanda remains to be the most technologically advanced nation in the world, held her own.

Guesting on Wednesday night's Tonight Show, Wright showed she has more to her than just acting chops. She can also do freestyle rap.

Faced with the intimidating "Wheel of Freestyle" challenge, the actress had to weave three words into her on-the-spot performance - disco, Red Lobster, and vibranium. Of course, as the chief inventor in Wakanda, she's highly familiar with the last word.

Although Wright confessed to being nervous, she soon drew massive applause for her fearless performance, which included references to the show's house band, The Roots, and the Oscars, among many others.

"Check it, me and Black Thought spin your head like a disco ball / yo, natural disaster / call your pops and let him pray for you / let's go crap some food at Red Lobster / Roots, tell me how I can win an Oscar," she effortlessly rattled off to start.

Wright had help from The Roots' Black Thought, as well as host Jimmy Fallon, but it's safe to say all eyes were on her. The 24-year-old is pretty well known for her ace freestyle skills on the set of Black Panther.

The Hits Keep On Coming

The Marvel movie was a massive box office success when it was released earlier this year, banking a whopping $1.3 billion worldwide, making it one of the most successful film releases of all time.

The movie was a critical and commercial hit, receiving rave reviews for its topicality and portrayal of women and people of color as equals. It is the first superhero movie to feature an African American lead, as well as a predominantly black cast.

Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa/Black Panther will appear in the upcoming team-up juggernaut Avengers: Infinity War. Letitia Wright's Shuri is also scheduled to appear, and she may even go toe-to-toe with the in-house tech genius of the Avengers, Iron Man. Fans will only have to wait another week to find out.
