In anticipation of the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, star Chris Evans, who plays Captain America, shared exciting footage on Twitter.

A Normal Day At The Office

The actor, who plays Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, gave fans a look at the training and rehearsal that went into getting him in shape to play the character. Evans shared some clips showing the making of the elevator fight sequence from 2014's critically-lauded sequel Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Aside from showcasing the amazing shape Evans was in for the part, it also provided a nerdy look at how the fight's choreography. Another video sees the jacked actor going through his moves slowly, bit by bit, all by himself, which gives some indication of how seriously he takes the role.

The third clip is a fast-paced, action-packed mashup with several other actors coming at Evans from all angles.

The final video finds him fighting everybody off enemies with just one hand because the other is incapacitated at that particular moment in The Winter Soldier. Joe and Anthony Russo helmed the flick, which earned $714.2 million worldwide.

Evans shared the videos of his training and rehearsal schedule on Twitter on Thursday, presumably to get fans even more hyped for Infinity War, which hits theaters next week and is also directed by the Russos.

Taking A Final Bow

Last month, the Captain America actor opened up about his decision to part ways with the role that launched his career. Evans, previously known for smaller parts in indie movies, and for headlining the raunchy parody Not Another Teen Movie, saw himself catapulted to stardom following 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger.

He confirmed that the second part of the Infinity War, which is still untitled, will be the last time he is playing the character. The movie, the fourth Avengers film overall, is due for release in 2019.

"You want to get off the train before they push you off," he explained in an interview with The New York Times.

This has led fans to speculate as to whether his Steve Rogers/Captain America may perish in the first chapter, even though he will reportedly be taking part in planned reshoots for the second installment. Another seeming casualty may be Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye, who has been curiously absent from the posters for the flick.

Evans originally signed a six-picture deal with Marvel but extended it to include the fourth Avengers movie. Including official appearances and cameos in Thor: The Dark World, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Ant-Man, the actor-as-Cap has appeared in every Marvel movie since his 2011 debut.

Avengers: Infinity War opens April 27. Check out all of Evans' behind-the-scenes videos below.
