Saturday Night Live's Aidy Bryant had exchanged vows with comedy writer and longtime boyfriend Conner O'Malley, revealed by the former via Instagram.

The world was thrilled to know that the comic and the writer tied the knot, though they got surprised as it was revealed after the actual wedding through social media. Bryant shared on Monday on her Instagram a dreamy photo that says it all, she in a lace wedding dress while O'Malley in a blue tuxedo walking the aisle as people cheered on.

The photo was captioned with only two hearts emoji, which was pretty self-explanatory. While details are yet to trickle down on the ceremony, it was reported that the guest list included those from the SNL, such as Kate McKinnon, Mike O'Brien, and Michael Che.

Well-wishes

Bryant's wedding post was flooded with well-wishes, including from costar Pete Davidson, who made use of the heart emoji 33 times. Others who congratulated the newlyweds are Jill Kargman, Kelly Oxford, Adam Pally, Tess Holliday, Elizabeth Banks, Laura Benanti, Jay Pharoah, Rachel Feinstein, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Lauren Lapkus.

"Oh, @aidybryant congrats! What a gorgeous pic! How exciting!" Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons wrote.

Secrets

Meanwhile, the wedding was kept from the public eye, though it wasn't the first thing the couple kept as a secret. Bryant and O'Malley's engagement was initially hidden, though they later shared the news.

Six months after O'Malley popped the question, Bryant revealed in April last year during an interview at the Late Night with Seth Meyers that she and her boyfriend were already engaged.

"We've been together a long time ... almost nine years. So, a lot of the shimmer and shine has faded. And we're just living every damn day as best we can," she said back then.

Bryant detailed how O'Malley proposed to her, explaining the cute way of how he presented the all-important question. Apparently, the 30-year-old went through the door and saw their dog wearing a bow tie, which was unusual.

Immediately after she closed the door, O'Malley hurriedly came and asked her. Bryant pointed out that the man had no box or anything, but only a ring he was holding with their dog as the witness. Of their love story, it started when they first met at the Annoyance Theatre in Chicago 10 years ago.
