Kat Von D happily announces that she and husband Leafar Seyer is expecting a baby boy by sharing a glamorous photo.

The 36-year-old tattoo artist shared the good news to her fans via Instagram on Tuesday by uploading a photo of her and Seyer while she can be seen cradling her baby bump. The caption revealed the gender of the impending bundle of joy.

"It's a boy," she captioned the photo.

In their baby announcement, pregnant Von D wore a gold brocade dress, and Seyer matched it with a classic black ensemble with black gloves and sunglasses. The patriarch, who is Rafael Reyes in real life, also revealed in his social media that they have already picked a name for their baby.

The name is none other than Leafar, which is Seyer's screen name and Rafael spelled backward. The soon-to-be dad seemed to be excited, as hinted on his post. Noticeably, his penned caption is longer than Von D's and, well, pretty much sums up how he's willing to go the extra mile for his family.

"When I thought I had it all. Life gifts me with the greatest of joys ... Thank you my love our family comes first !!!" Seyer's caption read.

Change Of Heart?

The good news came six years after Von D admitted in an interview with Dr. Drew Pinsky that she doesn't want any children. She explained that while she loves kids and they love her, she still doesn't want to put her body to go through it.

Furthermore, she revealed that she had always known this fact since she was 7. However, it seemed that the recent news not only proved that Von D has changed her ideals when it comes to starting a family but also showed that she's now willing to set aside her reservations when it comes to her body.

Von D And Seyer's Love Story

Von D and Seyer got married in February, surprising their fans by making the announcement on Instagram. Both of them posted their hands showcasing their wedding bands. They tied the knot just a week after they've gotten engaged.

The Prayers vocalist and the Kat Von D Beauty owner didn't exactly adhere to one traditional and conventional wedding practice. Based from the picture, the soon-to-be mom wore a black gown, a far cry from what is commonly opted for the event.

The "Gothic Summer" singer and Von D first sparked dating rumors in 2015, when they began appearing on each other's social media. The LA Ink star was previously married to Oliver Peck. In 2011, she was engaged with Jesse James.
