Jimmy Kimmel to Host 64th Prime Time Emmy Awards

Late night host Jimmy Kimmel will host the 64^th Primetime Emmy Awards in September, ABC announced Monday.

The September 23 program will be Kimmel's first time as host. Kimmel host

The executive producer for the program for a record 12th time will be director and producer Don Mischer.

As a producer and director Mischer's credits include The 84^th Annual Academy Awards, "We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial," "The Kennedy Center Honors" and the "100^th Anniversary of Carnegie Hall, as well as several Super Bowl halftime shows.
