Aerosmith's new summer tour will kick off June 16 in Minneapolis, Minn., Live Nation announced Monday, with band members saying they're excited to return to North America after last year's global tour. 

"The old Aerosmith is back with a new vengeance and we will kick your ass and make with your mothers," front man Steven Tyler said in a statement.

Lead guitarist Joe Perry said he "can't wait to bring this band back home. It feels like we've been away too long."

Live Nation said in a statement that tickets will go on sale on March 30 and 31 at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.

The band's website tickets will go on presale on Tuesday, March 27.

Live Nation has scheduled the first round of tour dates and says more will be announced in a few days.

"We're going to break out the classics, the hits and maybe even some of the new ones we've been banging out in the studio. Can't wait to get to Minneapolis!" said bassist Tom Hamilton.

The latest tour includes the following dates. All go on sale March 31 except for the Philadelphia date, which goes on sale March 31.
