Chrissy Teigen is following in Gwyneth Paltrow's footsteps. The model and cookbook author snapped a pic while getting a vagina steam treatment.

A Tough Beauty Regime

Teigen, who is known for being brutally honest on Instagram, took to the site on Monday, June 18 to share a pic of her midway through the treatment.

"Face mask / heat pad / vagina steam no I don't know if any of this works but it can't hurt right? *vagina dissolves*," she captioned the post.

Vagina steams are hugely popular in Hollywood, and Goop founder Paltrow supports this beauty regimen. Jada Pinkett Smith recently extolled the virtues of a good steam.

"When I tell you my yoni is like a 16-year-old, I'm not kidding ... I'm talking about the outside. It looks like a little beautiful peach," she told her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, on the latest episode of her Facebook talk show series Red Table Talk.

However, San Francisco-based OB/GYN and writer Jennifer Gunter advised against following in the footsteps of Teigen, Paltrow, and Pinkett Smith.

"A vagina does not need to be detoxed. Ever. The vagina is a self-cleaning oven. That is why we have good bacteria," she explained back in 2016.

Keeping It Real Always

Lip Sync Battle host Teigen has been serving up even more realness on social media since the birth of her second child, Miles, with husband John Legend back in May.

She hasn't been shy about sharing all the nitty gritty details of postpartum life with fans, including the mesh underwear she had to wear following Miles's birth. Teigen also tweeted about how much nicer it was not to have ripped herself open in the process.

The 32-year-old proudly showed off her son on Instagram Tuesday, sharing a photo of him fast asleep wearing a blue onesie and a white NASA beanie.

Teigen joked about her "space baby," with NASA even replying to let her know how much they liked his hat.

In keeping with her standing as the queen of social media, Teigen shared the news of Miles's birth online. She posted a pic to Instagram shortly after, to introduce the baby to the world and confirm his musically-inclined name.

She and Legend also have a 2-year-old daughter, Luna. Both children were born via IVF, which the happy couple has been very open about.

Miles may be just barely a month old, but he's already an astronaut in training and a socially conscious do-gooder. On President Trump's 72nd birthday, Teigen, Legend, Luna, and Miles all donated $72,000 each to the American Civil Liberties Union.
