Tristan Thompson braves a potentially frosty Kardashian-Jenner welcome in California. He also posts about his baby daughter, True, online for the very first time.

Making His Feelings Known

Thompson's little girl with Khloe Kardashian was born on April 12, just days after a massive cheating scandal rocked the couple, putting their future in jeopardy.

Kardashian has given fans tons of looks at her little lady, sharing her cuteness all over social media. However, her baby daddy hadn't posted anything at all until now.

Father's Day found him finally posting about True on Instagram. Thompson shared a pic of him wearing a gold chain with her name on it, along with another chain emblazoned with Prince, the name of his son with blogger Jordan Craig.

"My Prince and Princess. I love you guys so much!!!" he wrote, including the requisite emojis for both.

To be fair to Thompson, he doesn't post about either of his kids on social media. He did discuss baby True on a recent episode of podcast Road Trippin'.

"I think with a girl, you're just so much more emotionally like... 'True, it's gonna be OK. You know, we're right here. Daddy's here to feed you. It's me! Look, yeah!' It's way different, but it's fun, though. It changes you," he noted at the time.

Putting On A United Front

Kardashian is back in L.A. with her extended family, bringing her daughter along for their first visit. It was unclear whether Thompson had accompanied them, but the couple was spotted out together earlier this week.

The two were getting dinner at Nobu in Malibu, alongside Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner and her long-time partner Corey Gamble. They later headed to the Peppermint Club to party with Kendall Jenner.

The couple was spotted at a McDonald's drive-thru in Woodland Hills on Tuesday, June 19. According to PEOPLE, a hash brown from the popular fast food emporium is the first thing Kardashian ate after giving birth in April.

Neither she nor Thompson has commented publicly on the cheating allegations against him. A source confirmed they're in a good place and are working on their relationship going forward.

"Khloé's super family focused and wants to keep her family together. ... Tristan's been supportive and helping out when he can," the insider advised.

Kardashian's decision to stay with Thompson did not go down well with her extended family, but she apparently remains nonplussed about their position.

"She still thinks she's making the best choice for her and True. She doesn't need her family's approval and will keep doing her thing," revealed a source.

The happy parents received a warm welcome in California, with balloons and cookies emblazoned with True's face waiting for them.

There's been speculation that Kardashian was preparing to return home to Calabasas, even her mother confirmed that she was set to move back shortly. Whether this trip is a flying visit or permanent one remains to be seen.
