Baby True is learning early on that diamonds are a girl's best friend. Her mom, Khloé Kardashian, pays homage to her with a massive sparkler.

Family Tradition

The Good American designer gave fans a look at her new ring, which features her daughter's name in diamonds, on her Instagram Story.

The piece of jewelry is a thoughtful gift from Khloe's BFF Malika Haqq, which actually continues on a family tradition. Her sisters both pay tribute to their kids with diamonds: Kylie Jenner is wearing an "S" necklace in honor of her own daughter, Stormi, while Kim Kardashian West has a "Saint" necklace in honor of her son.

At first, Khloe's ring seemed to be something entirely different, as she was photographed wearing it on her left ring finger. She tagged Haqq in the post, however, to let fans know that it wasn't given to her by partner and baby daddy Tristan Thompson.

Last week, the proud mama shared some adorable videos of True spending quality time with Haqq. The posts showed her baby seated happily on her BFF's lap, in her nursery, complete with the requisite sweet Snapchat animal filters.

"Little True and auntie Malika @forevermalika #truethompson #malikahaqq #forevermalika," she captioned the clips.

The two ladies have been best friends for years, even before Keeping up with the Kardashians debuted and made stars of Khloe and her extended family.

Contrasting Reports

The reality star gave birth to her first child in April, in the shadow of a cheating scandal involving Thompson. The couple has worked through their issues and is even in couples therapy, according to a family friend.

However, the 34-year-old took the issue with recent reports from Lisa Stanley, the alleged friend in question, who spoke to the press. She commented on an Instagram post sharing the news story to question its veracity.

"Who is Lisa Stanley???" Kardashian wrote in the comments section.

Stanley claimed in a widely circulated interview that Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner would have preferred if her daughter left Thompson, but that Khloe was never planning on dropping her baby daddy.

"Khloé was always going to try and make this work ... She has a child now, and she feels very connected to [Thompson] in that way. ... She clearly loves the man," noted Stanley.

However, a source not connected to Stanley previously told Us Weekly that all was well with the couple and that there were no issues with Kris or any of Khloe's family members since they have been back in LA.

The trio is currently in California for the summer, spending time with the extended Kardashian-Jenner clan while the Cleveland Cavaliers player is in his offseason.
