The Client List actress Jennifer Love Hewitt quit Twitter on Wednesday night, claiming she no longer wanted to deal with the negativity and threats generated by the social media users.

The pregnant actress last tweeted on Monday, and it’s not clear what specific messages led to her decision.

“Unfortunately with all the negativity people choose to send on twitter as well as threats to there (sic) own well being. I’m sad to say twitter is no longer for me,” she wrote on Wednesday.

Hewitt added, “I have enjoyed all the kindness and love that came my way, as well as support. But this break is needed.”

“Life should be filled with positivity and holding each other up, not making threats and sending bad vibes. To those of you who made it a joy… thank you from the bottom of my heart,” she concluded.

On Wednesday, the actress was spotted out and about, flaunting her growing baby bump.

Hewitt announced that she was expecting her first child with fiancé Brian Hallisay in early June, and days later also confirmed that the two were set to tie the knot in the future.

The couple confirmed their baby news first, saying, "This is a wonderful time and we are looking forward to starting a family together."

Hewitt and Hallisay, both 34, first met on the set of the NBC series Love Bites, but didn't start dating until early 2012. The pair costar in The Client List together.
