Jennifer Aniston has attracted almost five million followers in the first 12 hours of her presence on Instagram, and her first post made it happen.

The 50-year-old actress posted a selfie with Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer -- her co-star in the hit TV series "Friends."

Everyone raved about the post, as she recently revealed that they had a mini-reunion at Cox's home. They were seen sharing a lovely dinner while catching up. It has been 25 years since the show aired on television.

Her witty caption said, "And now we're Instagram FRIENDS too." The actress also wrote a welcome message to Instagram because it was her first time to use the app.

The fans, though very excited, could not help but notice the quality of the photo. One fan said that it looked like a draft selfie-and deserves a retake. Another one remarked that maybe her fans could start a GoFundMe campaign so that Jen could get a new phone.

A few hours after she posted the photo, there appeared to be a technical glitch. Her profile was not able to accept new followers. It worried a lot of people who really wanted to follow her after that reunion photo she posted.

Aniston joked about it by apologizing, saying that she might have broken it. More than eight million users of the app have liked her post. At the moment, her current follower standing is at 7.3 million.

According to reports, Aniston's Instagram account gained roughly 166,000 followers within thirty minutes since she created her account. It is likely that her account is holding the record of the most followers gained in a few hours.

Her Instagram account may be one of the first to gain a million followers in a span of hours.  According to the Guinness World Records, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have held that title since they joined Instagram in April of this year. Their joint Instagram account reached one million milestones in a span of 5 hours and 45 minutes.

It is believed that Jennifer Aniston's Instagram account has broken that record. She may have surpassed that number of followers in a far shorter time, though this has yet to be officially verified.

Reese Witherspoon was one of the first who greeted the actress and welcomed her to Instagram. She wrote, "YASSSS! Welcome to Insta Jen!" The two appear together in a new show under the Apple TV series called The Morning Show

Kate Hudson and Mariah Carey sent her a welcome message, too. It looks like celebrities and fans alike are happy that she has finally joined the platform.

Everyone's excited about the next posts she'll be making.

They're hoping though, that the quality of the camera used next time would be far better than this one. Only Aniston can get away with a photo quality like that and still get millions of likes.

Jennifer Aniston on Instagram has always been what fans wanted. And now they got it. Perhaps, fans are also looking forward to a selfie with ex-husband, Brad Pitt.

Imagine the two back together, even in a photo?
