Actress and model Kate Beckinsale, 46, formally settles her divorce with "Underworld" director Len Wiseman after their split in late 2015.

Represented by divorce attorney Laura Wasser, the A-list actress filed legal documents to finalize their divorce settlement, allowing a private judge to sign off on the division of their property. The actress wanted all of her jewelries and personal effects, as well as all of her earnings to remain hers after the separation.

It has also been reported that Beckinsale deeded a property in the Hollywood Hills to Wiseman.

The couple has trodden the path to legal separation way back in 2016 when Wiseman filed for their divorce, citing their "irreconcilable differences." The case, however, had no movement since Beckinsale filed her response in 2017. The court has recently placed the former pair on notice, requiring them to appear in court on July of the current year to prevent dismissal of the case.

It usually takes a long period to settle similar cases. However, according to The Blast, the only step left in the divorce is to file it with the L.A. County Courts.

Before her engagement to Wiseman, Beckinsale was in a long-term relationship with actor Michael Sheen, with whom she had a daughter named Lily.

The actress met Wiseman in the 2003 set of "Underworld," where her previous partner had been casted. At the time, Wiseman was married. Despite the numerous speculations, Wiseman and Beckinsale both claimed that there was no infidelity.

The couple decided to separate from their respective partners and eventually got married in May 2004 in Bel-Air, California, with Beckinsale sporting one of the most stunning celebrity engagement rings.

Throughout the years of their relationship, they have become one of the most loved and highly celebrated couples in Hollywood. Some of their best moments could be seen in their red carpet pictures, as well as in the projects they have worked on together.

Rumors of their quiet separation dated back in November 2015, when the actress was spotted out and about without her wedding ring. Wiseman was also seen heading into the Hollywood hotspot "The Nice Guy" together with young model CJ Franco -- all while his wife was shooting a project overseas.

It was noticeable back then that he was also not wearing his wedding ring.

It was October 25, 2016 when Wiseman finally filed a divorce. A source told People that the pair both had difficult schedules and "have grown apart." TMZ Online previously reported that both parties have already waived any right to spousal support, and that a pre-nup may have already been in place.

The actress made headlines earlier this year when she began dating Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson after the latter's split with Ariana Grande.

Beckinsale met Davidson back in January at a Golden Globes event. Since then, the two have been spotted together in numerous public locations. Their relationship did not flourish, however, and Davidson reportedly started to date Margaret Qualley (with whom he had gone back to not dating just a couple days ago).
