"Señorita" singer Camila Cabello had an amusing response to the rumors that she and her boyfriend, Shawn Mendes, have already split.

After an online publication wrote an article with the "Proof Shawn and Camila Are Broken Up," Camila had an amazing retort while also calling out and blaming Mendes -- albeit jokingly.

"Well, when THE F**K were you gonna tell me @shawnmendes," Cabello posted along with the screenshot of the publication.

Sure enough, the witty response by the "Havana" songstress made their fans breathe a sigh of relief -- knowing that the two are actually going strong despite rumors.

Break-up Rumors

The Cabello-Mendes Break-up gossips started when Mendes deleted the most-shared kissing video of him and Cabello. It caused quite the ruckus among their fans.

The video was first created by the couple in response to a fan's comments that they looked like "two fishes trying to be intimate" when they were spotted kissing each other in a restaurant in July. The video became popular and transformed into a source of memes, even topping the trending list worldwide.

Most fans pleaded Mendes to post more updates with Cabello, but the two didn't have enough time together due to their busy schedule. The times that they were not interacting with each other served as the free time for all the separation rumors to storm the internet.

However, the rumors "being spread by fools" stopped when Cabello posted the answer on her Instagram story.

A "physical proof" that they are still happy and burning with love was also shared by Mendes himself when he posted a photo of him and Cabello last week. In the romantic picture, fans can see Cabello kissing Mendes' cheeks as he wrapped his arms around her. The caption, which was a black heart, was enough to stop the rumors from resurfacing.

Going Strong

Earlier this month, Camila confessed to ITV's Lorraine that Mendes became her home and her inspiration in writing songs.

"It was inspired by... I was in my first serious relationship at the beginning of this album. That's what inspired Romance and it is about falling in love. All of the stories are just my life and what's happened the last two years," Cabello shared during the interview.

Cabello admitted she felt terrified when she faced some issues while getting into a serious relationship with Mendes, but she told herself that there was "more to lose."

That alone should make their fans feel at ease even though they needed to spend time away from each other to focus on their career. Put simply, Cabello will always be Mendes' señorita.

The two are still busy now to even post more ShawMila moments. Mendes is in the last leg of his tour, as he is set to perform in Australia before flying to Latin America to cap it off.

On the other hand, Cabello was spotted partying with the brain behind their song "Señorita," Andrew Watt. He also co-worked most of Cabello songs released the past few years.

The separation rumors should finally end, and fans can now relax and appreciate the lovely couple more.
