Selena Gomez released her most-awaited single "Lose You to Love Me" and fans apparently created a drama out of it.

A few hours after the release of the song, fans decoded the lyrics and speculated that the song was created for Gomez's ex-boyfriend and "Beauty and a Beat" singer Justin Bieber, who recently got married to American model and TV personality Hailey Baldwin-Bieber.

"Lose You to Love" was being referred to as a song used by Gomez to throw a shade to Bieber. A few moments after its release, Bieber's wife posted a screenshot of Summer Walker's song "I'll Kill You" on her Instagram Story

Fans interpreted it as a warning to Gomez. Of course, it did not make the fans of the "Hands to Myself" singer happy, and they were completely outraged by the apparent threat made by Baldwin.

The netizens started calling out both Bieber and her wife. Some fans commented Gomez's song title on Bieber's Instagram account and posted statements like "Goodbye, you are canceled!" to Baldwin's account.

In response to the accusations made against her, Hailey Baldwin pleaded fans to stop and claimed that all the accusations are "complete BS."

"Please stop with this nonsense. There is no 'response.' This is complete BS," Baldwin wrote in a now-deleted comment on Just Jared's page.

Moreover, to stop the rage of the Selena's fans, Baldwin turned off commenting on her Instagram page.

Amidst all the drama, Gomez remained silent and didn't directly address questions whether her latest single was a shot at Justin Bieber. Besides, she is focused on taking care of her mental health right now and living away from the public's eyes.

Gomez, however, posted a screenshot of a note on her Twitter account, sharing a faith-filled message to everyone. Again, the fans theorized that it was the singer's indirect response to Baldwin's indirect threat. On the note, she said that no one can take her down.

"See the enemy keeps trying to tear me down and it's not gonna happen. Not today. Not the next," Gomez went on.

Fans showered Gomez with love and support after posting the tweet. They also expressed how grateful they are to her for being an inspiration since the start of her career.

Gomez is continuously loving her fans back, too. She recently released another "special gift" to all her supporters: the song "Look at Her Now."

Hopefully, it won't spark a messey controversy unlike "Lose You to Love Me" that certainly has hints of JB in it.
