Out of the many issues surrounding Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex remains focused about the conditions of her husband, Prince Harry, and their five-month-old son, Archie.

Things haven't been going smooth for Meghan Markle these past days, especially after the controversial ITV documentary that she and her husband got into.

During an appearance at "CBS This Morning," Martin said that it has been tough watching Meghan deal with the scrutinizing press. He wasn't able to hide his relief now that the Duchess was finally able to voice out her sentiments.

But through it all, Martin said that Markle feels just as protective of Prince Harry.

"She has a lot on her plate and I feel like she just wants to make sure that her boys are safe. I know her and she's going to totally take care of this - it's just about understanding the ways around it."

Martin says he feels for the former "Suits" actress. "To be honest, it's been tough. I feel like this is now - watching this documentary, it's been almost a relief seeing her at a point where she can be honest about what's been happening. I feel like all of us who have known, we just didn't know what to do or how to help," Martin shared, pointing out that the challenging events in the royal family must be demystified to allow people some information on what really has been going on.

In the said documentay, the Duchess of Sussex opened up about difficulties of settling in the royal family. It didn't help her that she received harsh treatment from the British press, which Prince Harry called as "relentless propaganda."

If these weren't enough to show just how tremendously stressful Team Sussex's life has been, Prince Harry further opened up about the idea of moving away from the U.K.

The controversies did not quiet down after the candid and emotional confession from Markle. On the contrary, they were fueled. Markle was accused of insulting the Queen and stealing Her Majesty's work, throwing even more negative attention towards her.

Prince William himself had been very worried about the couple's emotional struggles. The Duke of Cambridge even approved of the idea that the couple take a break from their royal duties.

Markle's longtime friend and makeup artist, Daniel Martin, shared his thoughts on why Markle decided to finally open up about her struggle with the press.

To recall, in the letter Prince Harry wrote as an explanation on why he decided to take legal action against a handful of British tabloids, he was being protective of his wife. He referenced what happened to his mother, Princess Diana, and cited that his "deepest fear" is the same would happen to Meghan.
