TayTay fans are not happy with the recent "modeling" stunt of Selena Gomez.

Yes, Gomez received backlash from Swift's fans after she flaunted a photo on IG wearing one of Kim Kardashian's SKIMS' swimwear. The worse part was that she included captions which denoted that she found Kim K's swimwear as "freaking comfortable."

So what's wrong with telling the world that a swimwear from Kim K's line is downright comfortable?

It would have been A-okay if not for the world-renowned feud between Kim K and Taylor Swift. Remember the time that both of these ultra-popular celebs became the trending topic because Kim released a supposedly "approval" of Taylor of West's "Famous"?

That shook the entire nation and the heated social media exchanges and shades between two lovely ladies lasted for a long time!

Now that is something that almost everyone could certainly recall. So if this is the case, why did the self-confessed Swift BFF Selena Gomez forget it?

Swift's fans didn't need to wait for an answer because they fired back at Gomez instantaneously, causing the latter to delete her controversial post. It was a picture of her wearing a black SKIMS swimwear, with captions "Legit," "so freaking comfortable" and where she also tagged "@skims."

Many fans -- both from Gomez's and Swift's camp -- took to social media to express their indignation over Gomez's mirror selfie.Some defended her and said she might not have even known that SKIMS was a line of Kim.

After receiving much backlash, Gomez immediately deleted her post and replaced it with an expression of loyalty towards Swift.

"My ride or die, I would die for this one. Thank you for forever being by my side. You have taught me so much, walked through all of this with me, STAYED and you remind me to be a better human being. I'm on your side for life," Selena wrote.

Gomez and Swift have reached BFF levels late in 2000s. Back then, Swift dated Joe Jonas while Gomez dated Nick.

They wrote to each other and would even attend award shows together. In one of Swift's music videos, both she and Gomez played the role of great fighters. Suffice to say, their friendship is one of the BFF goals many aspire to have.

Even at the time when the Kim K-Swift feud erupted, Gomez stayed by Taylor's side. When it was Gomez who suffered from sadness and heartbreak, Swift was by her side too.

Now that the SKIMS post was deleted, the question is, did it solve the problem? Hopefully it did. With the years that Gomez and Swift have weathered out challenges, an IG post may not be enough to destroy their friendship.
