"Jumanjji," the supernatural board game, has always been associated with jungle-based challenges since the beginning. However, with the recent release of the new movie's final trailer, the filmmakers literally took it to the next level.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson personally unveiled the final trailer of "Jumanji: The Next Level" on his official Youtube channel. The movie served as the third installment of the franchise and the sequel of the 2017 movie "Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle."

As seen on the final trailer, the production changed the trademark landscapes from rainforest-like setting to deserted and snowy places. Despite the changes, they still showed a jungle on the first part of the game and eventually shifted to the new landscapes as part of the "next level" theme.

Other than the usual setting, they also made a new set of characters who will also be played by the original cast. Actors Danny DeVito and Danny Glover played the role of human counterparts of Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart.

Nick Jonas also re-appeared from the previous movie. The avatars of the video game are still played by Johnson, Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan.

What made the movie more exciting to look forward to were the glitches that showed up in the final trailer. Fans started brainstorming whether the glitches serve as a sign that it would be the last movie of the franchise or just part of a hidden twist.

The movie's possible sales have been set at more than $1 billion, which is the sales  "Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle" made worldwide. With the recent trailer, Sony raises their expectations and looks forward to hitting two consecutive box-office hits of the franchise.

"Jumanji: The Next Level" will be competing with "Starwars: The Rise of Skywalker," and no one knows if it will be a jostling fight between the two. If this installment made it, it would be a two-time miracle for Sony already.

The movie is set to take their fans to the next level on December 13, 2019.

What The Cast Say About The New Movie

With the fact that "Jumanji: The Next Level" will be available in theaters just a week before "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker," Black shared his thoughts about the possible rivalry between the two movies.

"I always thought we should be called Jumanji Strikes Back if we're going up against another Star Wars. I would like to go into space," Black playfully said in an interview with Total Film Magazine.

The cast shared their ideas and the things they want to do in the next possible installments of Jumanji.

Gillian wanted to have a player swap for her to experience to be a man, and for the male cast to be trapped inside a girl's body. Johnson had a similar suggestion and said that it would be wonderful if Dr. Smolder Bravestone's character would be played by a girl.

With these suggestions, fans can expect more twists and turns on the movie. Hopefully though, the upcoming film will not be the last movie of the Jumanji franchise.
