Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly want to quit the royal family, but they might want to rethink that decision.

According to royal expert Juliet Rieden, the Queen will not allow Meghan and Prince Harry to leave the Royal Family. After all, they have the responsibility as a public role model as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

It's not only the Queen who's preventing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Markle and Prince Harry from quitting the family. Other members of the Royal Family are also against it because they believe the two have a "huge" responsibility to tend to as Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan and Harry Can't Quit

A lot of controversies surfaced over the past weeks, especially after Meghan and Harry's candid interview for a documentary where they revealed their struggles as royals. The said interview sparked speculations that the royal couple is planning to leave the U.K..

However, when asked whether Meghan and Prince Harry will quit active royal duty, Rieden said the royal family -- partiuclalry the Queen herself -- will most certainly disagree with it.

Also, according to royal expert, the Prince and Meghan have always played a huge and important role in the family, as they have been modernizing forces within the Firm.

"They have been out there changing the face of the Royal Family and finding a whole new audience for the Royal Family that they hadn't had before, a global audience, a female audience, a mixed-race audience," Rieden explained.

Rieden also emphasized that the couple has "removed the boundaries for anyone who is interested in the Royal Family" and that leaving the royalty will not be a good thing for both them and the Royal Family.

Meghan and Harry Not Happy?

Last October, Prince Harry and Meghan shared in a revealing ITV documenta difficulties they are having in coping with increasing public interests in their personal lives.

Meghan, who welcomed her son Archie Harrison last May, admitted that she had a hard time adapting to her new royal position together with being a wife to Prince Harry and mother to Archie.

After their admission to their real situation in life, rumors have been going around that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might consider to relocate to either the US or South Africa to escape the public pressure

However, Rieden doubts that Prince Harry and Meghan will be able to focus properly if they do so. The royal expert also shared  that it may help the royal couple to fix their personal lives, but they're always going to be in the spotlight no matter what.

"They're kind of stuck and they are trying to find a way to make this work for them," she said. "One of the ways it might work for them is if they speak up when things are not going well and that's what this situation is about."
