Every member of the Royal Family has their own secrets. Some of the untold stories are starting to unveil.

In a stunning and playful revelation, it turns out Princess Diana kept Prince Harry's gender from Prince Charles when she is pregnant with him, and she did it for a good reason.

In September 1984, the birth of Prince Harry shocked Prince Charles the most, not because he did not expect it at all but because he expected a girl to come out.

The interesting story made it to Andrew Morton's book entitled "Diana: Her True Story". Instead of celebrating the baby's birth, people heard Prince Charles said "Oh God, it's a boy" first before commenting about the little prince's red hair.

According to a royal biographer, Prince Charles wanted to have a daughter. He was excited to have a second baby in hopes it would be a girl, only to find out that Princess Diana knew that the baby was a boy all along through a scan. She chose not tell the Prince of Wales about Harry's gender since she did not want to disappoint her husband.

To his disappointment, Prince Charles vented out to Princess Diana's mother, Frances Kydd, during Harry's christening. Even months after, he whined about not having a daughter. However, Kydd made the prince realize how lucky he was to have a normal child.

Though Prince Harry was not the child his father wanted, he still followed the steps of her late mother and took after her. He even had his projects aligned to what Princess Diana started: for example, the clearing of landmines in Africa.

Another Secret on Morton's Book?

Other than Princess Diana's secret about Prince Harry, the book also revealed that Prince Charles and Princess Diana were unhappy since there were "three people" involved in the marriage.

Princess Diana referred to Harry as her miracle and "complete joy" who guided her to walk through the total darkness. But after giving birth to him, the princess revealed that it marked the beginning when her relationship with Prince Charles started to be on the rocks.

Two years after Prince Harry was born, Prince Charles reportedly restarted his romantic entanglement with Camilla.

A year before the royal couple got divorced in 1996, Princess Diana personally mentioned to a Panorama interview that she knew that her husband was having an affair with Camilla.

The royal princess tragically passed away when she got into a car accident in Paris a year after their divorce, together with her then-partner Dodi Fayed and driver, Henri Paul.
