Summer is already over, but Liam Payne continues to sizzle by going naked in his recent photo shoot.

The 26-year-old former One Direction member posed with Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell in front of renowned photographers, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot. The softcore-porn-like photoshoot was made for HUGO as part of their new campaign.

It also marked the beginning of the HUGO x Liam Payne two-year partnership.

In one of the shots, the "Bedroom Floor" hitmaker laid down nude while the 29-year-old model posed on top of the singer.

Payne, however, admitted that he had no idea that the campaign was going to be that risqué. According to him though, what made them pose more intimate for the shoot was the involvement of tequila.

Per GQ Hype, the two ended more naked than they thought. Since Payne worked with a naked model, he always reminded himself not to look at Maxwell whatever move he did.

"Before we landed the deal with Hugo, I'd gone into my gym and said, 'I'm going to get an underwear commercial.' I just wanted to do it; I knew I could do it. And then it actually happened! And I worked my ass off and I'm still hitting the gym: I didn't realize once you get on that thing you can't really turn it off," Liam told GQ.

After the shoot, Liam realized that he took his song literally and just had "softcore porn" shots. The photographs also surprised his mother that she gave Payne a clip round the ear after seeing them.

Payne and Maxwell seemed to be couple-material after the shoot, but the singer remained loyal to Maya Henry, whom he started dating after splitting with his kid's mother, Cheryl Cole.

Blessing Payne's Fans More?

Following the sexually explicit shoot, Payne confirmed the released date of his first solo album "LP1" on Dec. 6.

The soon-to-debut-as-a-soloist singer revealed that it took him two to three years to finish the whole album. He said it was difficult for him, as he needed to open up at first to figure out what people wanted to know about him.

The transition from being in a band for five years and finally coming out of it made it harder for him to know himself.

Even in Payne's therapy sessions, his therapist asked him what he likes to do and the singer only replied, "I don't know what I like doing!"

Though he is still undergoing the transition phase, fans can expect that "LP1" will be the start of Payne's successful career as a solo act.
