Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian haven't had the best history. Until yesterday, fans didn't know that their feud may or may not have ended.

In case you missed it, the reality star posted Instagram stories during a photoshoot, and fans were quick to notice that Swift's "Lover" was playing in the background.

Fans were quick to take to Twitter what they have discovered:

One fan said: "Did anyone notice Kim was playing Lover in the background??? Does this mean the feud is over??? I hope so! @KimKardashian @taylorswift13 @taylornation13."

Another one commented: "I'm confused as heck right now."

"Make a good song that even your haters can't resist to listen to," said another tweet.

Two fans were not happy and shaded, "Desperate for attention" and "Kanye had the aux!"

It has been nearly a decade of bad blood between the Kardashian and the pop star. Swift has a complicated history with Kim's husband Kanye West, which dates back to the 2009 VMAs. West infamously interrupted Swift upon receiving her award for "Best Female Video," to which he insisted that "Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time."

Kim released a private phone call between Swift and the rapper over Snapchat, which caused the internet to flip out. It proved that Swift had approved the lyrics to West's song, "Famous," that the pop sensation had previously said she knew nothing about. He called the lyrics "sexist and rude."

That event led to Kardashian and her followers commenting snake emojis on Swift's Instagram posts.

From there, it started Swift's serpent-themed album -- "Reputation" -- and snake symbols on her record and tour.

Fast forward to the most recent interaction: Swift released her album "Lover," and Kardashian was caught listening to it.

But is the feud between Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift really over?

Kardashian once said that she is over any past drama and only wants positive vibes. However, Swifties were alarmed when Kardashian and Kylie Jenner announced the release of a fragrance collaboration on the same day of the launching of "Lover." Fortunately, the perfume release date got pushed back.

It may seem that the mother-of-four might be offering peace or reconciliation to the "Cruel Summer" singer. If not, maybe she likes Swift's music or just trolling her again.

"Lover" is an excellent album with lots of great songs, though.

Fans believe that if Swift can make peace with Katy Perry, she can also do so with Kim Kardashian.
