Kim Kardashian West only had to answer "yes" or "no." She uttered the right answer and got a cheque in return!

The 39-year-old media personality recently attended The New York Times DealBook Conference with Andrew Ross Sorkin at Time Warner Center. During the function, she discussed the power of saying "no" and as what people expected from a Kardashian, the soon-to-be a lawyer smoothly delivered her take.

The press conference turned into a burlesque-like event as she recalled the funniest time she said "no".

As an example, Kardashian remembered a "cute story" of how her husband recently surprised her on Mother's Day.

The mother of four recollected how Kanye West handed her a cheque worth $1 million and a contract to be an owner of Yeezy, her husband's fashion supply company.

But the cheque and contract served not only as West's gift for her wife but also his form to say "thank you" to the KKW Beauty owner.

Kim revealed that a fast-fashion brand contacted her and offered her a million dollars for a single Instagram post. However, the bad thing about the supposed partnership included the brand's tendency to copy Yeezy's designs and color palettes.

"I thought, 'O.K., well that's easy' - just to wear clothes that I could pick, anything that I wanted, it's a quick post," Kardashian said.

When she mentioned the offer to her husband, West quickly asked her not to accept the offer and how they should not grant their desire to copy Yeezy.

West commented on the offer out of respect and convinced Kardashian not to model for their rival nor grant them an Instagram promotional post.

After hearing the rapper's opinion, Kim told the viewers of the New York Times Dealbook Conference that she understood why West said no -- and she gladly said no because of that, as well.

In the end, she still made a million and made her hsuband happy -- call hitting two birds with one stone!

To end her answer to the press question, Kim told the viewers that there is a power in saying "no" sometimes.

Kim already clarified that she does not feel bad about taking such an easy-money opportunity in the past.

"If there is work that is really easy that doesn't take away from our kids, that's like a huge priority. If someone was faced with the same job opportunities, I think they would maybe consider," Kim said.

Since she has been receiving negative commentaries from almost everything, she said that it is okay to come up with a decision that you like, believe in, or worth it -- financially speaking.

Kardashian just proved that you could get more when you say no.
