Iconic stars rocked the stage with performances for the Macy's Fourth of July Firework Show that took place on Thursday night.

The spectacular housed performers, Pitbull, Cher, Tim McGraw, as well as a few other very special guests with the power of technology. Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Mariah Carey all pre-recorded their shows to be presented live at Lincoln State Park. America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon emced the evening.

Swift performed at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, for fans who would later see it at the fireworks show in New York City. In a sparkly suit and a Victorian-style entourage of jokers and powdered wigs, the pop star sang her hit song We Are Never Getting Back Together.

During the pre-recorded broadcast Gomez sang her two latest hits Slow Down and Come and Get it. Gomez was festively dressed right down to her makeup. Wearing a red basket weaved bralette and a high wasted white, bedazzled mullet skirt flowing down to her gladiator heels, she topped off the outfit with dramatic blue eye shadow and bright red lipstick.

"Happy Birthday America!!! Hope everyone is enjoying the day. XOXO," Gomez tweeted on Thursday.

Mariah Carey entertained the crowd with America the Beautiful, Hero and #Beautiful. As expected, She had a changing wardrobe throughout her show, including a red gown and country girl-inspired ensemble.

Live at Lincoln, Pitbull gave his all in a rendition of Give Me Everything Tonight.

Following was country music legend Tim McGraw, who sang Something Like That. He rocked a black cowboy hat and jeans on stage, and the patriotic performance was lit up with red white and blue lights and glow sticks along with the infamous backdrop of the empire state building.

Cher wore an edgy silver shinning outfit from her baggy black pants and leather zipper jacket. The singer represented females with her latest single Woman's World.
