Introducing... the VEGOTSMA!

He is one of the youngest EGOT winners in history. He is one of the most iconic and talented singers to date. Considering all these achievements, however, John Legend is not yet done.

The 40-year-old star has now been officially crowned as People's Sexiest Man Alive.

Legend bagged his first Grammy in 2006 with his debut album "Get Lifted." Since then, the singer-songwriter has made his steady ascent towards superstardom. His talents and skills have not gone unrewarded. He has been recognized for being his songs and concert productions, and is one of the only 15 who have received an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony.

This goes without saying, but John Legend is indeed a legend.

"I was excited, but I was a little scared at the same time because it's a lot of pressure," the entertainer told People. "Everyone's going to be picking me apart to see if I'm sexy enough to hold this title. I'm [also] following Idris Elba, which is not fair and is not nice to me!"

Legend is People's 43th Sexiest Man Alive. The list started off in 1985 with then-29-year-old Mel Gibson and has since then included the best and hottest Hollywood personalities.

The title was handed to Legend in Tuesday's live episode of "The Voice," where the singer stands as a coach. It was personally given to him by an alum -- 2017's Sexiest Man Alive, Blake Shelton.

"It is my duty to formally introduce the next Sexiest Man Alive," said Shelton. "And he just so happens to be here tonight! Ladies and gentlemen, the man, the myth, the Legend!"

The country star "awarded" Legend with a pair of short blue jeans which contained his new awards in an acronym.

"You already had an EGOT," Shelton explained, "then you won 'The Voice,' so it became a VEGOT. Now, you have the VEGOTSMA!"

Legend thanked People Magazine, as well as Shelton who taught him "his sexy ways."

"I observed every move he made, every utterance that came from his mouth, and I think some of it rubbed off on me. I think that has everything to do with why we're here today," Legend said while addressing the crowd.

Legend actually seemed to have predicted his win in the previous season of "The Voice." He joked about being the only male coach who was yet to receive the award as he sat next to Shelton and Adam Levine.

"I realized I'm the only man up here that hasn't won Sexiest Man Alive," he said. "I feel like if I'm on 'The Voice,' that means I'm gonna get it."

And sure enough - '"The Voice" is now teeming with the hottest men in Hollywood!
