Jason Hoppy might be going through a bitter divorce with wife Bethenny Frankel, but he's not ready to take off his wedding ring yet.

According to pals, Hoppy really wants to work things out with his estranged Real Housewives of New York wife.

"His friends are trying to set him up on dates and introduce him to women, but he's just not interested," a source told EnStars. "He understands marriage and relationships go through bumps, and he wants to stick it out -- til death do us part."

The couple, who called off their nearly two-and-half year marriage in Janaury, continue to cohabitate in their 3,400-square-foot Tribeca loft, which is leading to a lot of tension between the pair.

The pair came to blows earlier this month when Frankel tried to film her talk show at their loft. The reality star was filming scenes for Bethenny in their shared $5 million New York City condo when Hoppy tried to shut down production, according to reports.

In court, the pair have been locked in a custody battle for several weeks now and have both requested primary custody of their 3-year-old daughter.

While there is an iron-clad prenup in place regarding Frankel's reported $100 million fortune, Hoppy is currently seeking child support and primary custody of Bryn.

"Because of Bryn, I can never say, 'I wish this had never happened,'" Bethenny explained to PEOPLE. "I have a beautiful child who I love so much, who is a part of both of us. In my marriage, I made a mistake. It is what it is. I made the wrong choice. But I do have my daughter, who is so beautiful and amazing in every way."

The couple married in 2010 while Frankel was pregnant with Bryn. Their wedding, and planning leading up to it, was aired on the Bravo spin-off series Bethenny Getting Married.

Frankel filed for divorce in January 2013.

On Tuesday, the 41-year-old pharmaceutical sales exec was all smiles -- and still wearing his wedding ring -- as he took his little girl Bryn to a New York City park.
