The Jonas Brothers have been very successful over the years. Despite the split they had for six years, they have managed to get back in track and produce music for their beloved fans in the whole world. However, what we all don't know, is one of the reasons behind their success is Kelly Clarkson.

On Kelly Clarkson's show "The Kelly Clarkson Show" on Thursday, Nick Jonas was invited as a guest to talk about his brother's band and what have they been up to.

Kelly revealed that after she read her pre-interview notes, she noticed something that intrigued her about the boy band.

The 27-year old "American Idol" winner revealed to Nick during the interview in the show that she had no idea that she was the reason why Jonas Brothers made a band. She feels like she was very "cool" when she knew about it.

Kelly has been very close to the three boys-- Nick, Joe, and Kevin-- but she is completely blind about her being the reason why the boys formed the band in 2005

According to Nick, no one cared about him nor about his brothers in 2005, since they were only new to the industry and were just coming up. Nick also shared how they used to be outside the stage in the parking lot area waiting for their gigs to be listed and get a call that they actually got in the gig they opened up for-- and Kelly made it possible for them to get into other gigs.

Nick thanked Kelly for her influence and connections way back, and even joked that they "owe her 20 percent."

Nick and Kelly Talked About "The Voice"

Furthermore in the interview, Kelly and Nick talked about Nick's new role as a coach for "The Voice" where he is going to join Kelly, John Legend, and Blake Shelton for the 18th season of the singing show.

Kelly even joked Nick that she is going to "kick his tail," off in the show. Nick responded that he is not going to let it happen, after revealing that the show has been filming and has already gotten its way for the blind auditions.

Nick opened up his experience as a coach and judge in "The Voice." According to the 27-year old "Jealous" singer, he has been enjoying being a part of the show. The competition in the show remains friendly to everyone so far. He also revealed that they have already finished the blind auditions and he had a lot of fun doing it, considering it's his first time in the show as a coach. Nick is also confident about his team and has a good feeling that he will bring home the bacon.

Kelly also agreed to Nick's statement about his experience in "The Voice,"

Kelly and Nick definitely did not expect that they will be clashing in the show, and Nick revealed that he was expecting more competition against John Legend. Kelly also revealed that it's a challenge for her because she will be battling against Nick in the show. Kelly even joked that she will win against him because she is "like a mom" to him.
