Pink just announced that she will be taking a break from performing and music. But is this only temporary or is the singer leaving for good?

During the 2019 CMA Awards, Pink attended the event together with her husband Carey Hart and their two children. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the singer revealed that she will be taking a break from creating music and performing, as she would want to spend more time with her family and her kids.

While Pink has already had the best years of her career -- with her new recording music and a record-breaking world tour -- it is high time that she could take a break from her career and focus more on herself and her family.

Pink also shared that her eldest daughter, Willow, is now back in school while her second child, Jameson, will be starting pre-school soon.

With that said, Pink wants 2020 to be sort of a year for her family.

Although it is not yet clear when exactly Pink will come back in the music industry, the 40-year old hitmaker also revealed that one reason why she is taking a break from her career is because of her husband.

Carey Hart is a professional motorcycle racer, and Pink wants him to focus on his own career in 2020. Her husband has always been supportive of her and her dreams, so she aims to show him the same support and energy that he has shown her over the years.

According to Pink, her husband has a lot going as well in his life. Despite that, Carey follows her all around the world. Pink is grateful to have Carey and could never ask for a more supportive and loving husband and father to her children.

The "Walk Me Home" singer furthered that her husband deserves a trophy for being the best husband she could ever have. While they used to "make a big deal out" of their roles in the fa,mily and their respective careers, they eventually realized that they are both lucky to have each other.

Although she already made her announcement, Pink still has a busy couple of months ahead. This 2019 has been a rollercoaster ride for her, but she is very thankful for what she has achieved.

The singer just released her eighth studio album "Hurt 2B Human" and received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in February.
